According to the National Center of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), 60% of men and 50% of women in the US have experienced at least one trauma in their lifetime. Many feel like trauma has become normalized behavior and a way of life. If you can visualize what the other side of healing looks like for you, then you can create a plan of action to get there. During this talk, you will learn three steps to coach yourself on moving forward after trauma.

The theme — Flow & Frequency: Honoring Our Womanhood in All Her Seasons — was divine. I met so many powerful women whose stories reminded me of the beauty in every stage of our journey.
My role was to set the stage for reflection on honoring every season of you. Because no season of your life has been wasted.
Each spring has renewed you.
Each summer has stretched you.
Each fall has reminded you that change is inevitable — and trouble doesn’t last always.
And each winter has tested your resilience.
Every season has given you wisdom, lessons, and strength. So if you ever wonder, What is my purpose?
Remember — it’s where your pain and passion collide.
In this episode, I talk about my personal journey through depression, disappointment, and isolation—and how God’s love helped lift the burden of shame. We discuss why shame keeps so many of us stuck and how healing requires more than understanding—it requires application.
This interview reminded me that trauma impacts us all—and healing is available to us all. Whether the conversation is happening in California or Taiwan, the themes are strikingly similar: survival mode, generational expectations, emotional silence, and the pressure to perform.
Across cultures, many of us were taught:
- To be strong instead of vulnerable
- To succeed instead of feel
- To endure instead of heal
Healing begins when we stop seeing ourselves as broken and start recognizing our scars as evidence of survival and our capacity to heal.
